Tastings

Why not schedule a tasting? Dreamcakes will prepare up to four cake samples for you to try to help you make the most important flavor-of-your-dreams. Our consultations last about 1 hour. Cake tastings are complimentary for cake orders over $500, placed within a week of the consultation. Tastings are $50 if an order is not placed within a week of your tasting or your order is below $500. This fee is non-refundable.  Cake tastings must be scheduled in advance and samples can be taken to go, if you prefer, although we’d be delighted to share this moment with you in person. Tastings are not a part of the initial consultation, unless arrangements have been made ahead of time.

Deposits and Scheduling

We recommend booking with us at least 4-6 weeks in advance and no later than 2 weeks before your special event. If possible, it is recommended that your order is placed as soon as your event has been scheduled, especially during busy seasons (think June, brides and grooms)! We are of the plan-ahead school, although we have been known to cram when necessary.

Dreamcakes requires a signed cake order form, along with a 50% deposit, to reserve the order date. Deposits are non- refundable. The remainder of the balance is due no later than 2 weeks before your event. If the final payment is not made 2 weeks before the event date, we reserve the right to cancel your order. Last minute orders, placed within 2 weeks of the event, must be paid in full at the time that the order is placed.
